Dr Maxton Bergin has dedicated his career to harnessing the latest advancements to improve patient outcomes.
After many years working in traditional skin cancer clinics, he realised that there had to be a better way to diagnose skin cancer.
While researching the latest international advancements, he decided to bring these cutting-edge technologies home to Australia.
Skintel was born.
Dr Bergin holds a Master’s degree in Skin Cancer Medicine from the University of Queensland. He is an accredited doctor with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia and a member of the International Dermoscopy Society.
The technology is there – we just need to embrace it instead of clinging to the old-fashioned way of doing skin cancer checks. A protocol using body mapping, dermoscopy, and optical biopsy delivers better outcomes and a better experience for our patients.
